Console surfaces get hot and reflective in Gulf sun. A fitted helm pad gives you a softer stance underway and helps protect gelcoat and vinyl where hands, feet, and gear land on every trip. A dash pad softens reflected light around gauges and screens, making it easier to read the console when the sun is low. The foam also helps reduce small scuffs from everyday use without changing access to switches, speakers, cup holders, or electronics.

Fit and installation details
A good pad starts with a careful measure. We note the console edges, instrument cutouts, grab rails, speakers, switches, cup holders, and any hardware that needs service access. That planning helps keep the finished foam from covering a control or lifting at a high-wear edge. We can discuss a ship-to-fit plan for suitable jobs, or an on-site measure and professional installation when that is the better choice.
Before a peel-and-stick installation, surfaces must be clean, dry, and properly prepared. We explain the prep and care routine so the pad has the best chance of staying secure through heat, spray, salt, and repeated cleaning. MarineMat is closed-cell EVA foam, so it provides cushion and traction without holding water like open-cell material.
