Mobile boats cover a lot of different water — open runs across Mobile Bay to Dauphin Island, quiet mornings up the Mobile-Tensaw Delta chasing ducks, and afternoons working Dog River or Fowl River. That range of use is exactly why so many Mobile boat owners end up looking at custom boat flooring. True North Marine Services builds custom MarineMat decking from our shop in Elberta, about an hour away, and every deck is scanned, cut, and installed in house.
True North Marine is a MarineMat Platinum approved fabricator, meaning the scan, the design, the cutting, and the install for your Mobile boat all stay in our hands.

From duck season to summer on the bay
Duck and jon boats spend cold, muddy mornings in the Delta and need a deck that shrugs off mud, blood, and standing water without staining. Center consoles and bay boats running Mobile Bay toward Dauphin Island need something that stays cool underfoot in the summer sun and doesn’t turn into a skating rink the second it gets wet. MarineMat handles both jobs: it’s closed-cell EVA foam that resists mold, mildew, and stains, grips wet or dry, and rinses clean with a hose once you’re back at the ramp.
The material carries a 3-year warranty against defects. Mobile boat owners who’ve been comparing SeaDek-style foam decking options should know MarineMat is that same type of product, built and installed by us alone.

Getting your Mobile boat scanned, cut, and installed
Every project begins with a call or text about your boat and a few photos, which starts your free measure and quote. Once you approve and sign, we schedule your TrueFit scan, capturing hatches, cleats, and console edges for an exact fit. From there you choose your colors and pattern, and we cut the MarineMat in house on our own CNC and laser equipment. Full details are on our process page. Our crew is happy to run down to the Mobile riverfront for the scan and install, or you can trailer up to our secure 45-acre facility in Elberta and make a day of it.
Also serving the Eastern Shore and beyond
Along with Mobile, we also serve boat owners in Daphne, Fairhope, and across the state line in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Mobile MarineMat FAQ

Do you install custom boat flooring in Mobile?
Yes. Whether your boat runs the Delta or the bay, we handle the custom boat flooring scan, cut, and install ourselves.
Is MarineMat the same as SeaDek?
Both are EVA foam boat decking. True North installs MarineMat, custom designed and fabricated in house rather than bought pre-made.
Do I need to haul my boat to Elberta?
Not necessarily. Our crew can run down to Mobile for the scan and install, or you’re welcome to trailer up to our secure 45-acre facility instead.
