Foley sits just inland from the beach towns, and most Foley boats spend their week on a trailer or in storage before heading out to Wolf Bay, the Bon Secour River, or the Magnolia River for the weekend. That in-and-out life is hard on a deck — old non-skid gets rough and stained, and gelcoat gets slippery the moment it’s wet. True North Marine Services builds custom boat flooring for Foley boat owners, and since Foley is the closest town to our Elberta shop after Elberta itself, getting your boat to us is an easy stop on the way to or from the water.
True North Marine is a MarineMat Platinum approved fabricator, so your deck is designed, cut, and installed by our own crew rather than passed off to someone else.

Custom boat flooring built for boats that live on a trailer
Pontoons, bay boats, and skiffs are the common sight around Foley, and a lot of them come out of storage only for weekends on Wolf Bay or a run down the Bon Secour River. MarineMat holds up to that stop-and-go life: it resists mold, mildew, and staining even when a boat sits between trips, and a quick rinse with a hose is usually all it needs before the next outing. It’s cushioned and cooler underfoot than bare fiberglass, and it grips wet or dry, so bare feet and wet dogs both do fine on deck.
MarineMat carries a 3-year warranty against defects. If you’ve come across SeaDek-style foam decking while researching options for a Foley boat, MarineMat is the version we build, cut, and install ourselves.
Colors, patterns, and matching accessories
MarineMat comes in dozens of colors and patterns, from Marina Blue and Gulfstream to Charcoal and teak-look finishes, with inset borders and custom logos or names available too. See the full range on our products page, and read more on our boat decking page. Plenty of Foley customers also add matching cooler tops or helm and dash pads while their boat is already with us.
What happens after you call
A short call or text with a couple of photos is really all it takes to kick things off, and that gets you a no-obligation quote. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll put your TrueFit scan on the calendar. Because Foley is only about 15 minutes out, most owners just pull the boat over to our secure 45-acre facility in Elberta themselves, though we’re happy to swing out your way if that’s simpler.
Full details are on our process page.
Right next door to Elberta, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach
Foley sits between our home shop in Elberta and the beach towns of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, so plenty of our Foley customers are already familiar with the shop from trips through the area.
Foley MarineMat FAQ
True North Marine is a MarineMat Platinum approved fabricator, so here’s what most Foley callers want to know upfront.
Do you install custom boat flooring in Foley?
Yes. Foley is close enough that most owners pull the boat straight to our facility themselves, but we’re glad to head your way instead if that works better.
Is MarineMat the same as SeaDek?
Both are EVA foam boat decking. True North installs MarineMat, designed and fabricated in house rather than sourced from somewhere else.
Do I need to store my boat locally before dropping it off?
No. Since Foley is such a short haul from our secure 45-acre facility in Elberta, most owners bring the boat directly from the trailer or storage lot.
